The Yoga with Sacha Family is Growing!

We’ve all had a crazy few years haven’t we?!

This year looks set to be a year like no other for my little tribe as we have just welcomed the arrival of gorgeous little Angelina Ananda Heath born on January 22nd after a lightning fast 4 1/2 hour labour (phew!!). She was born into a water pool, on Corfu, in a cottage surrounded by loving friends. Rafael has been a dream big brother and we are all soo blissfully happy with her arrival.

(As you may have noticed by my much-reduced amount of content I was pretty floored by both my pregnancies.... for quite a few months I was staggering around like a zombie! I am already feeling much better now- and one look at Angelina and Rafael and I know it was all worth it :)

The growth of our family means big (hopefully temporary) changes to the way we will run things this year. I hope to get back to recording more yoga and mantras and livestreams for yoga with Sacha after a few months quiet time in my baby bubble :)  I also hope to do some retreats and classes in Corfu later this year, and my accommodation www.mandalayogabnb.com will be renting out 2 studios for those who want a gentle holiday on this beautiful island.

We hope you have enjoyed this little update from our family and send you lots and lots of love,

Namaste,

Sacha, Ben, Rafael and Angelina

Lazy & Slow ❤️ A Live Yin Yoga Class to Rebalance & Rejuvinate...

https://youtu.be/kclpEbg3ipU Hello love :) How are you?   I hope this message finds you well :) For me at the moment life has been super- busy. Every minute seems to be something going on. I feel very grateful as its been full of lovely things like singing mantras, teaching yoga and being with my little ones. For me life definitely has that high summer energy right now.     Summer is a particularly good time to practice yin, it helps cool us down, calm us down and keep the balance by making space for something slow, subtle, and introspective at a time when life tends to be hot, fast and outward focussed.     I hope you enjoy this session and that you have a great week,      :) Sacha  PS You can access all my exclusive courses and music at my Patreon https://www.patreon.com/yogawithsacha or gain access to my new course on Insight Timer: Mantras for awakening here: https://insighttimer.com/meditation-courses/course_mantras-for-transf...

3 Tibetan Tools to Increase your happiness today...

Photo by Vicky Christell on Pixabay Tibetan Buddhism is an ancient tradition that has spanned the centuries helping its practitioners to overcome suffering, increase compassion and find true, lasting happiness within.   The Dalai Lama (world-renowned leader of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddism), has won hearts around the globe for his warmth, down- to- earth wisdom and gentle social and political activism. Today I would love to share a few techniques he mentions in his book- The Art of Happiness (co-written with psychologist Howard Cutler), as well as to share with you a form of yoga that is alleged to have originated in Tibet over 2500 years ago. 1. Re-train your brain for happiness... “A disciplined mind leads to happiness, and an undisciplined mind leads to suffering.” ― Dalai Lama XIV, The Art of Happiness In Buddism, it is common to reflect upon the causes of the good and bad circumstances in one's life and thus to take full responsibility for ones ow...

What do you surrender to... & what do you resist?

Here's this weeks video: Yoga For Surrender Hello Beautiful Soul,      How are you?       Here we are again- meeting in this virtual world, co-creating this moment together - right now while the external world does its thing.      These past few weeks I have been thinking a lot about presence/ mindfulness/ the simple, powerful tool of embracing the present moment.     To the best of my (rather limited) ability I've been surrounding to this moment- no matter how different things may turn out then what I planned and no matter how hard things may seem out there in the world... or in here in my own mind.     I keep observing that resisting the way things are does not change them, but only brings stress to me.  So why resist?!  What happens if I just surrender and allow it all to be?-  All the beauty. All the pain. Just allowing everything to be as it is in this moment and th...
