Hi << Test First Name >>, How are you? Welcome to the new year!
This message is the first of 4 weekly messages to encourage and support you in your practice.
Several years ago I started a YouTube channel with the intension of sharing yoga, mantras and meditation with people like you! I kicked things off by creating The Morning Ten - A 31 Day Yoga Challenge where we practice 10 mins of yoga a day for an entire month. I have loved seeing the beauty that can arise when we share our gifts and practice together.
This year I share with you an updated version of The Morning Ten- included in this are some new videos and also occasional mantra and meditation videos as a reminder that yoga is much more than just a physical practice (although the physical benefits are indeed amazing!).
If you wish you can expand your practice by adding either of the following suggestions:
Calm abiding meditation: You may also wish to deepen your Sadhana by doing a few mins a day of simple breathe awareness meditation: Sit upright, set a timer for between 2-5 mins, close your eyes and observe your breathing. When your mind wanders just gently bring it back to the breath.
This Practice has sooo many benefits for the mind and nervous system
Hot water with Lemon: You can end your session with a cup of hot water with some lemon squeezed in. It is a wonderful warming way to gently rehydrate and detoxify that has been used by yogis for millennia- if you have the time then you can read a few pages of an inspiring book, or just enjoy a quiet and mindful moment :)

Hello lovely people, How are you? I hope this message finds you well and happy as the season keeps turning more and more autumnal and the moon once again grows full. There are 2 little missions I would love to accomplish in this post! 1. A wee update... 2. This weeks 7 Day Steady & Grounded Yoga Calander... 1. In my little world there have been many ups and downs this week- lots of things are changing, lots more uncertainty is once again knocking at the door and a few pieces of really shocking news have rumbled through my personal world. But through it all there is a part of me that feels really, almost strangely OK. Behind the waves of emotions lies is an underlying strength and steadiness that I am sure I owe to my practice. It is so important to be true to our emotions and to give them space. To make hard decisions and face the consequences. To have the compassion to sit with the suffering of oneself and others. ...But it is also important to remember that we each have the
Free Yin Yoga Video HERE Hello lovely people, Today is a new day! Each morning that we are blessed enough to wake up here on planet earth we are given a fresh start. This gives us a chance to focus on not only what we want to do with the day but also how we want to be in this day. The to-do list can be easily written. Think about everything you really desire and then find ways to take steps however big or small towards those changes. The to-be list is all to often forgotten. While you are doing what you are doing, are you doing it with grace and ease...or with pressure and stress? Are you enjoying the journey... or are you missing the juicy-ness hidden in each moment? Are you practising contentment - or are you hoping it will arrive after you have accomplished all the things you want? (....This never happens by the way!) Santosha is a Sanskrit word that roughly translates as contentment. It is the second of the Niyamas - (A system of spiritual suggestions outlined by th
How are you? Welcome to the final days of The Morning Ten- your invitation to practice 31 days of yoga (including meditation and mantras)... even if that simply means practising for just 10 minutes a day :) In these last sessions the invitation is to round things off and integrate :) Many goals and intensions begin in January and I know all to well the feeling that one has fallen off the wagon or become lost in old patterns once again- so now is the perfect time to practice self-compassion and take a moment to observe what your experience has been so far this year and to use the lessons life has brought you and the lessons from your heart to re-dedicate yourself to whatever is important to you- Realistically, honestly and lovingly! A few questions to reflect upon are: What have you learned this January? Is there anything you would like to integrate more deeply? How does your yoga practice support you? Are there any gentle goals or intensions that would support you going forwards?
