31 Day Yoga Challenge week 2 :)

Hello lovely being :)

How are you?
Welcome to week 2 of The Morning Ten- your invitation to practice 31 days of yoga (including meditation and mantras)... even if that simply means practising for just 10 minutes a day :)

Within myself I am still feeling very much in a post x-mas cloud! It feels hard to find the time and the motivation to accomplish very much in these days... but it is like that sometimes isn't it?!
Younger versions of me would probably have tried to 'push through it', but this time I am attempting a different strategy- to breathe into it, to practice self-compassion, to take all non-essentials off my plate and ride out this phase knowing that another one will start when the time is right.

It is such a profound thing to be able to accept things as they are and to take many slow deep breaths.

So if you have been keeping up with the challenge so far then well done! And if you have not then that is also just fine :)
Dip into the sessions below if/when you have the time- knowing you are just perfect as you are either way.

Bonus Practices:

If you wish you can expand your practice by adding either of the following suggestions:

Calm abiding meditation:
You may also wish to deepen your Sadhana by doing a few mins a day of simple breathe awareness meditation: Sit upright, set a timer for between 2-5 mins, close your eyes and observe your breathing. When your mind wanders just gently bring it back to the breath.

This Practice has sooo many benefits for the mind and nervous system

Hot water with Lemon:
You can end your session with a cup of hot water with some lemon squeezed in. It is a wonderful warming way to gently rehydrate and detoxify that has been used by yogis for millennia- if you have the time then you can read a few pages of an inspiring book, or just enjoy a quiet and mindful moment :)

I hope you have a wonderful week.
Big love!

  1. Thank you Dr ogugu for helping me to get my lovely partner back in my life. I am so blessed that you use a non forceful way of reuniting us. Our past, and future seems to have all merged into one. You told me that everyone has a compatible soul mate whether in their life of waiting to come into their lives. I am glad it's my partner of old. I did not want to really go and be with someone else... You have removed the extra baggage that has been affecting us and holding us back. Peace to you Dr Ogugu. Anyone out there with 8 problems should try and contact Dr ogugu his website, I assure you your problems will be solved by this great man.

Lazy & Slow ❤️ A Live Yin Yoga Class to Rebalance & Rejuvinate...

https://youtu.be/kclpEbg3ipU Hello love :) How are you?   I hope this message finds you well :) For me at the moment life has been super- busy. Every minute seems to be something going on. I feel very grateful as its been full of lovely things like singing mantras, teaching yoga and being with my little ones. For me life definitely has that high summer energy right now.     Summer is a particularly good time to practice yin, it helps cool us down, calm us down and keep the balance by making space for something slow, subtle, and introspective at a time when life tends to be hot, fast and outward focussed.     I hope you enjoy this session and that you have a great week,      :) Sacha  PS You can access all my exclusive courses and music at my Patreon https://www.patreon.com/yogawithsacha or gain access to my new course on Insight Timer: Mantras for awakening here: https://insighttimer.com/meditation-courses/course_mantras-for-transf...

Loving Compassion :)

Hello beautiful people :) Today I would like to share a meditation I have practiced many, many times over the years. I learned it a long time ago at the London Buddhist Center and found it an incredibly effective tool for generating a sense of loving-compassion . Click link HERE for free video! Over the years I have used this meditation to radically shift my feelings about myself, people who have presented challenges to me and helped me to get a sense of connection with all living beings- not bad for a 20 min practice :) (In fact once you know it you can do an even quicker version if you need to!) I hope you enjoy it, let me know about your experience with it in the comment section, it is such a pleasure to share these tools with you. Namaste, :) s

What do you surrender to... & what do you resist?

Here's this weeks video: Yoga For Surrender Hello Beautiful Soul,      How are you?       Here we are again- meeting in this virtual world, co-creating this moment together - right now while the external world does its thing.      These past few weeks I have been thinking a lot about presence/ mindfulness/ the simple, powerful tool of embracing the present moment.     To the best of my (rather limited) ability I've been surrounding to this moment- no matter how different things may turn out then what I planned and no matter how hard things may seem out there in the world... or in here in my own mind.     I keep observing that resisting the way things are does not change them, but only brings stress to me.  So why resist?!  What happens if I just surrender and allow it all to be?-  All the beauty. All the pain. Just allowing everything to be as it is in this moment and th...
