Feel Steady & Grounded

Hello lovely people,

How are you?

I hope this message finds you well and happy as the season keeps turning more and more autumnal and the moon once again grows full.

There are 2 little missions I would love to accomplish in this post!

1. A wee update...
2. This weeks 7 Day Steady & Grounded Yoga Calander...

1. In my little world there have been many ups and downs this week- lots of things are changing, lots more uncertainty is once again knocking at the door and a few pieces of really shocking news have rumbled through my personal world.

But through it all there is a part of me that feels really, almost strangely OK. Behind the waves of emotions lies is an underlying strength and steadiness that I am sure I owe to my practice.

It is so important to be true to our emotions and to give them space.
To make hard decisions and face the consequences.
To have the compassion to sit with the suffering of oneself and others.
...But it is also important to remember that we each have the potential to live and love without limits.

Within each of us is a part that is just watching the drama of life unfolding- without judgment, and without needing to change anything, just watching it all arise and staying present in each unique, powerful moment of existence. All is welcome here- The good, the bad and the ugly.

2. This week I would like to share with you a calendar of cherry-picked yoga, and mantra sessions to support the theme of feeling Steady and Grounded :
4.Gentle Sun Salutations Including PUPPIES!!! (10 mins)

I wish you a beautiful, grounding week,
    Namaste,
        :) s

Lazy & Slow ❤️ A Live Yin Yoga Class to Rebalance & Rejuvinate...

https://youtu.be/kclpEbg3ipU Hello love :) How are you?   I hope this message finds you well :) For me at the moment life has been super- busy. Every minute seems to be something going on. I feel very grateful as its been full of lovely things like singing mantras, teaching yoga and being with my little ones. For me life definitely has that high summer energy right now.     Summer is a particularly good time to practice yin, it helps cool us down, calm us down and keep the balance by making space for something slow, subtle, and introspective at a time when life tends to be hot, fast and outward focussed.     I hope you enjoy this session and that you have a great week,      :) Sacha  PS You can access all my exclusive courses and music at my Patreon https://www.patreon.com/yogawithsacha or gain access to my new course on Insight Timer: Mantras for awakening here: https://insighttimer.com/meditation-courses/course_mantras-for-transf...

What do you surrender to... & what do you resist?

Here's this weeks video: Yoga For Surrender Hello Beautiful Soul,      How are you?       Here we are again- meeting in this virtual world, co-creating this moment together - right now while the external world does its thing.      These past few weeks I have been thinking a lot about presence/ mindfulness/ the simple, powerful tool of embracing the present moment.     To the best of my (rather limited) ability I've been surrounding to this moment- no matter how different things may turn out then what I planned and no matter how hard things may seem out there in the world... or in here in my own mind.     I keep observing that resisting the way things are does not change them, but only brings stress to me.  So why resist?!  What happens if I just surrender and allow it all to be?-  All the beauty. All the pain. Just allowing everything to be as it is in this moment and th...

Why Compassion Is So Very Powerful…

Everyday life brings each of us many opportunities to share compassion…. But are you harnessing these opportunities and using them to help you live and give to the fullest? Within the tradition of Buddism, much time is given to practices that cultivate compassion. So what exactly is compassion and why is it soo important? Here are 3 amazing quotes from His Holiness the Dalai Lama: “Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive.” “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion. “We can reject everything else: religion, ideology, all received wisdom. But we cannot escape the necessity of love and compassion…. This, then, is my true religion, my simple faith. In this sense, there is no need for temple or church, for mosque or synagogue, no need for complicated philosophy, doctrine or dogma. Our own heart, our own mind, is the temple. The doctrine is compassion....
